I have been working in online technology for more than 25 years. As a journalism major at the University of Illinois, I started on the editorial side of the business for a company that worked with sports properties. But I soon found myself gravitating toward the technical staff -- trying to help figure out technical solutions for clients along with our development staff. Though I continued to love editorial work, I decided to switch careers; I went to grad school at the University of Chicago (while working full-time) and earned a Masters in Computer Science.

From there, I worked at Classified Ventures in their cars.com vertical, building site features and packages, dipping my toe into technical work. After a few years, I moved to Articulated Man, which eventually became Trilogy Interactive. Originally hired as a web developer, I now hold the Director of Development position.
